Wes is a founding partner of Peachtree Investment Advisors where his responsibilities include serving the needs of clients and developing strategic relationships for the firm. With over 30 years of experience in financial services, he has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Who’s Who in Finance” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Beyond advising clients on investment strategy, Wes provides expertise in all areas of wealth management, including tax efficient wealth transfer strategies, retirement planning, banking, and insurance advice.
Wes formerly served as a partner and Executive Vice President of an Atlanta-based investment advisory firm. He also spent 13 years with First Union Corporation where he assisted in the establishment of the bank’s footprint in Georgia. He served as Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director of Private Banking.
Wes currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Agnes Scott College and is Chairman of the school’s Investment Committee. Wes also serves on the Investment Committee of the Atlanta History Center, where he previously served as a Board Trustee. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Capital City Club and a member of the Board of Councilors of The Carter Center. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Buckhead and past President of the Buckhead Lions Club.
Wes graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Davidson College. He and his wife, Anne, have three children and reside in Buckhead. Wes and his family are actively involved at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where he also serves as Chairman of the Administrative Board.
